To all you Synth retro lovers out there, here is an artist you can sink your retro teeth into.
Louvers conceptualizes all things 80s and vintage. His music creates that yearning for distant memories and a certified Yen feeling for all you Yenners out there.
Based in Brooklyn, New York this talented musician has dabbled in various projects and in multiple bands but has never quite felt at home until applying his talent to The synth genre .
Their latest single release ‘ Quarantine Dream’ is a nod to the old 80s soundtracks of yesteryear and I’m loving every vibe of it.

The grainy video aesthetics and stylized synthesizer will never get old. Here’s a sneak peak …
It has always been the music he has inspired to create and feels that the music allows him to express feelings and emotions that he couldn’t necessarily express in other formats.
The song itself has great lead ins and vhs quality sounds that immediately timetravel you to the golden era of the 80s. Following this guy for a while I can see the inspirations based on other tracks and experimentations with guitar and synth that nods the cap to bands like The cure, New Order with his gritty guitar riffs and catchy beat underlying the Miami rhythm.
It’s clear they know this era well and are able to catch the palm tree, neon essence that all wave lovers thrive on. Movie themes and television references in his imaging and video editing are really well implemented and only enforce this playful genre. With this lyrics he has found a way for expression and truth whilst still being able to keep the tone 80s, which can be a hard mix to conquer.
I’m hopeful for this artist and continue to follow on his social media for updates and feeding my own inner yen.

This design is wicked! You certainly know how to keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Wonderful job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
